Dont ever let anyone take away your dream of an affiliate business.
So what inspired me to write about this tonight? Well the answer to that is looking back 6 or 7 months ago and seeing that my earnings were so minimal. I also know that 6 months ago I was in a rut with a partner who really had no vision but I was determined to never give up. I know you will have relatives and friends always telling you that you are wasting your time but believe me an affiliate business is not a waste of time.
Then you will have the excuse that you dont have the time for an affiliate business. Well thats just another cop out. My partner is a full time mommy with a 2 year old boy and another boy on his way to his fourth birthday. I dare anyone to challenge me that she doesnt have her hands full.
As for me I work full time in the oil patch which usually includes 13 hour days for 23 days straight.
What it is for us is commitment. We understand each other and we know that we both want this enough that no excuses will work on us. Our affiliate business is our dream come true.
Im only writing this to let everyone know that if you cant make it with your affiliate business its because you dont have the desire.
Jodie and I fought with the decision to put some screen shots of our pay on the site but for now we decided that we wont because so many people would just say we faked them anyways. However those are the people who are definately failing in their affiliate business.
See, we both know the average $5000 dollars a month we make in our various affiliate businesses is definately very spendable money. We both know that Jodie is making more working at home and being with her family then if she was working outside the home and also having to pay for child care.
The day the two of us decided to team up turned out to be a great blessing for both of our families. We are just 2 normal people that have proved what really can be done with an affiliate business. We are not gurus and we are not making $10 000 over the weekend in our pajamas. (But we do make money in our pajamas)
So dont let anyone stand in your way of building a great affiliate business, dont let anyone bring you down or stand in your way, dont associate with negative people and most importantly believe in yourself and one day at a time you can build a great affiliate business.
I know I speak for Jodie when I mention how Wealthy Affiliate is the best training course on the internet. We definately owe a lot of gratitude to the owners of Wealthy Affiliate for helping us grow our affiliate business.

May the good Lord continue to shower you his blessings to always make your affiliate business more successful in order to help more people in need so that His name shall be known through you! I am really glad to have come to your site. I am inspired by the moves you made and hopefully would find the same success as you have soonest as I am yet looking for ways to become successful in making money online. Hopefully any guidance and tips from you I would gladly welcome!
After reading this Dale it surprises me that you would be so negative in your review of my website on Link Referral. I’m glad you do well with Affiliate Marketing, but I didn’t even after 6 months in Wealthy Affiliate. I am very careful with my choices in programs and do very well, which if you would have bothered to watch the video you would know. I didn’t mean anyone can get rich without working, what I do mean and still do, is anyone can make money in their sleep once they do the work to set it up and the passive nature of the business takes over, as long as they wake up 10 minutes a day and view the websites they need. It’s much like affiliate marketing in that sense, once you have the traffic on autopilot your money comes in no matter what. Thanks for taking the time to express your opinion anyway.
A big problem is that a lot of people still doesn’t understand that anyone can make money off internet today. The just thinks you are “sitting in front of your computer”. The worst scenario is when they know that you make money and still think you’re just sitting in front of your computer, pressing a few buttons.
This is just my opinion, but you are moving in the wrong direction with Clickbank if you want to sell actual product and recruit affiliates who sell tangible products. Clickbank is full of downloadable products which are a dime a dozen, get rich quick schemes, etc… with minimal tangible goods.
ssp – I’m not sure exactly what you mean. We affiliate for both tangible and intangible products. If we can find an angle on a niche, we will work it if it’s worth the while.
