Yahoo Answers-A Great Tool For Affiliate Marketers

Its kind of funny that some of the best tools for affiliate marketing are right in front of our eyes and dont cost a penny to use. I consider Yahoo Answers one of the most valuable tools in my arsenal for promoting affiliate products.

So many products cost hundreds of dollars when so many great tools are availabe to be used.

Yahoo Answers is a great place to show yourself off as an expert, create great back links to your site and to make sales.

Now if you think you are going to join Yahoo Answers and spam the questions with your links then be prepared to have your account closed rather quickly. Yes the temptation is there and I would be lyeing if I said I havent had an account or 2 closed.

I have since learned to use Yahoo Answers the proper way and am developing some what of a following in there.

You do need to pick your topics carefully. There are a lot of kids asking a lot of silly questions. You need to be in a niche thats dominated mostly by adults. We both know we arent going to make any money from kids.

Also if you do happen to get your account closed its not really life ending. You can easily open up another Yahoo mail account and start using Yahoo Answers all over again. Of course you will have to meet the requirements all over again in point building but whatever its still a very good way to promote affiliate products for free.

We also accept your questions about affiliate marketing through email. I need to get blunt here though. We will answer questions about your site, your blog and anything else to do with affiliate marketing. However we are absolutely not interested in signing up to another internet business. What we are trying to say is there is a time and place to market to us and in our email is not the place.

Twittering

Twittering is most definitely the latest craze.

It is a micro blogging site where you can keep in contact with friends, family and business relations in real time.

I was very reluctant to get involved with twitter with everything else on my plate but Jodie kept telling me to give it a try and I will love it.

I told her twittering wasnt for me but secretly was paying a little attention to it and realized as an affiliate marketer that twitter could be a very useful tool to my business.

Now dont get me wrong. I see way too many people confusing twittering for spamming. Well thats a route I absolutely have no interest in.

Twitter has turned out to be a great place to follow some of the industry leaders. It has also been a great place for me to find people who want help with their affiliate marketing.

Of course I am an affiliate marketer to make money but twittering your link all day long just isnt going to solve anything.

Im not saying I dont post my link but only when I feel it is right to and in a day so far I have never posted it more than 4 times.

Twittering as an affiliate marketer is a great way to build relationships for now and the future.

So when you are twittering keep in mind that many others are reading your posts. Put some thought into what you are saying before you make a nuisance of yourself.

Well A New Month Begins For Affiliate Nuts

January was the first month Affiliate Nuts really was live.

First of all I would like to say thanks for all the great support to Affiliate Nuts. We have a long way to go with the site but we are on track to have it the way we want.

Affiliate Nuts was built so Jodie and I could keep everyone updated on the greatest show on earth, Affiliate marketing. Was also built as a training tool and happy to say it has a lot of great free info on it already. So our first month with Affiliate Nuts I believe has been a success. I know to many it doesnt seem like a lot just yet but considering that less than 60 days ago I was pulling my hair out trying to learn how to use Wordpress I would say things are coming together just right.

So what is Affiliate Nuts working on in February?

Well of course on a personal note we will always be doing what it takes to get traffic to our site in hopes of having one of the most popular, useful and helpful sites on the internet. We are smart enough to know that this doesnt just happen overnight though so plan on seeing Affiliate Nuts around for a long time.

Whats exciting is Affiliate Nuts should have their newsletter finished sometime in February. The newsletter will be a training course that will help every newbie interested in affiliate marketing. It wont just be fluff and filler but rather real information everyone will be able to use.

Of course Affiliate Nuts promotes one program very proudly. That program if you havent noticed by now is Wealthy Affiliate. There is no doubt in my mind that without Wealthy Affiliate the Affiliate Nuts wouldnt be where they are today and I we are always learning new stuff from Wealthy Affiliate.

So for now I guess this is the Affiliate Nuts signing off.
