Why the Squidoo Lenses?

Some of you may wonder why we have a list of squidoo lenses down the right side of our site.  As most of you may know, Squidoo is a great place to garner free organic traffic from the search engines.  By integrating many of our tutorials for helping people with affiliate marketing, we capture organic traffic from Squidoo and hopefully they have found their answer and wonder who has provided this information… or perhaps they simply want to learn more.

Also, the idea for this site (Affiliate Nuts) has been around for a long time and we knew the information we wanted to share on here, but before the site was built, we used Squidoo to provide this information to people.

I’ve been following some discussions on twitter in regards to using Squidoo.  Some believe that it is only a platform to earn money.  This is flat out false and anyone that feels that Squidoo is the way to earn, rather than a vehicle to improve your own existing sites is either short sited or they have not been exposed to Affiliate Marketing.

Squidoo should be only one tool in your online toolbox, not the actual toolbox.
